Lincs: Coastwatch man Chris at Probus meeting
Chris, who retired some years ago from The Royal Navy, is one of many volunteers who man watch towers around the coast of Britain.
NCI was founded in 1994 to restore a visual watch along the UK coastline following the loss of two Cornish fishermen immediately below a recently closed Coastguard station.

The primary aim is to take the ‘search’ out of search and rescue by monitoring all kinds of activity that may endanger the public.
