Gainsborough: New housing development officially opened
The Brocklesby Mews development was officially opened by guest of honour Coun Malcolm Parish, the Vice Chairman of West Lindsey District Council and former Chairman of Acis Group.
The scheme, completed earlier in the year by property developer Gelder Group, has created nine much needed affordable homes and represents a total investment of £0.68 million, including a Homes and Communities Agency grant of £37,000

Coun Parish declared the scheme open in front of guests that included representatives from West Lindsey District Council, Gelder Group, Richard Morris Associates and Acis.
John Cawdell, Vice Chairman of Acis, said: “The plot of land where these new homes now stand was formerly an unused garage site.”
“This highlights our commitment to regeneration and making the most of existing resources in Gainsborough, and in particular in the Park Springs area of the town.”

Coun Parish said: “I am delighted to have been asked to officially open Brocklesby Mews, not least due to the fact that I served as Chairman of Acis Group some years ago.”
“I would like to thank Acis and everyone involved in building these new homes.”
The opening event was rounded off with a celebratory reception.
