Police investigating a fatal crash on the A57 in Worksop are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

A 30-year-old man tragically died after the van he was driving was in collision with a lorry on the A57, Retford Road, in Worksop, at around 9.25am yesterday, September 7.

Ivan Ivkovic, aged 50, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and remanded in custody.

Officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, has any information, CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist them with their inquiries.

Sergeant Mark Baker, of Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with this man’s family and friends. Our specialist trained officers are working to offer his family support at this incredibly sad time.

“We have charged a suspect but our investigation is ongoing and we are working hard to understand exactly what happened.

"We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or any drivers who may have recorded dash-cam footage to please get in touch with us.”
